Note: While I’m still learning Spanish, I’ll be communicating in English. I make sure we’re always on the same page!

Every face tells a story, I just help frame it

Hi, I’m Divani! I recently relocated to Madrid from Singapore, where I developed my love for photography, focusing on capturing beautiful moments for travelers, couples, and families. I’m all about creating a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere for my clients, so you can be yourself while I capture your special memories.

Words from happy faces

The BEST photographer we could have asked for ❤️ This is our first time in Madrid and Divani made the trip memorable! Very accommodating, professional, prepared (brought an IKEA bag for us to put all our bags in so they won’t get stolen!!!), open to suggestions, and filled to the brim with kindness ☺️ The entire communication process from start to end was seamless and she was so involved, even helping us with a color scheme! If you ever are thinking of taking some professional photos in Madrid, Divani is the way to go 🙏🏼
I had an amazing experience with Divani during our photography session! Not only did we capture beautiful photos, but I also had an opportunity to explore Chinatown in Singapore. Divani has a great eye for poses and truly knows how to make you feel comfortable, especially if you're shy in public. The photos turned out fantastic! Thank you so much, Divani!
Divani did an amazing job for me and my patner to shoot natural pose, our first time aboard to took couple photo! Divani help us to direct the move, places and enjoy through in the way to captured the shot. She is good person and photography, incredible work!

The need-to-know bits

What types of photo sessions do you offer?

I specialise in a variety of portrait sessions, including personal portraits, family shoots, couple sessions, pet portraits (like dogs), and baby photography.

What should I wear for the session?

Offer general tips for clothing choices (e.g., avoiding bold patterns, choosing colours that complement the setting).

Whats the best time to do the photoshoot?

The best time for photos is early in the morning, from sunrise to about three hours after. There are fewer people around, giving you more privacy and less distraction in your photos. If mornings don't work, late afternoons—about three hours before sunset—are also great to avoid the heat and harsh sunlight.

What if it's raining on the day of the photoshoot?

If it's not heavy rain, we can still proceed with the shoot using transparent umbrellas, I will provide them (only for 1 - 2pax photoshoots). However, if it's heavy rain, unfortunately, we'll have to cancel or reschedule the photoshoot for another day.

I don’t know how to pose, can you help me?

I struggle with posing in front of a camera too, so I get it. But don't worry, we'll work on some poses together. I'll explain how to do them, and if you're still unsure, I'll show you some pose pictures for you to mimic during the shoot. It'll be fun!

Can I select the images to edit?

Yes, you can choose which images to edit. However, I recommend that you allow me to select the best ones for you. This way, you'll get the photos within 7 days after the shoot. Typically, there are over 100 photos to review and choosing them can be time-consuming. So, it's better if you let me handle the selection for you.

What are RAW photos?

Raw photos are unprocessed image files straight from the camera. They contain all the data captured by the camera's sensor without any adjustments, allowing for more flexibility in editing and enhancing the photos later on.
